The Carrabassett Valley Library Garden is a Master Gardener project behind the public library in a small mountain town in western Maine. Everything it grows is donated to food pantries in Eustis and Stratton. Like most community gardens, it runs on volunteers — and its single hardest job is keeping the garden watered every day through the July–September dry season.
