Terms of Service
Last updated August 30, 2026
WeAllGarden provides free, simple tools for community gardens and local food organizations — volunteer sign-ups, a community-fridge checker, a harvest tracker, and a garden journal. By using WeAllGarden (the “Service”), you agree to these terms. Please read them; they're meant to be plain and fair.
1. Who can use it
You may use the Service if you can form a binding agreement with us and are not barred from doing so under applicable law. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you're authorized to accept these terms for it.
2. Accounts
Coordinator accounts require an email and password. You're responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity under your account. Many features — like a garden's public sign-up page or the community tools — need no account at all.
3. Acceptable use
Please use WeAllGarden for legitimate community, garden, and food-org purposes. Don't use it to break the law, harass people, post others' personal information without permission, send spam, upload harmful code, or interfere with the Service or its users. We may suspend or remove content or accounts that violate these terms.
4. Your content
You keep ownership of the content you add — opportunity descriptions, journal entries, photos, and the like. You grant us the limited licence needed to host and display that content so the Service can function (for example, showing your sign-up page to volunteers). You're responsible for the content you post and for having the rights to share it.
5. Volunteer and contact information
When people sign up through your pages, they provide names and contact details. As a coordinator, you agree to handle that information responsibly, use it only to run your volunteer program, and comply with applicable privacy laws. Contact details (email, phone) are stored privately and shown only to your organization's coordinators.
6. Privacy
We collect only what the Service needs to work: account emails, the content you create, and the sign-up details volunteers provide. We don't sell personal information, and we don't run ads. Volunteer contact information is kept private to the organization it was given to. You can request deletion of your organization's data by emailing us. Community tools identify ownership by an unguessable link rather than an account.
7. Free service, availability
WeAllGarden is offered free of charge to community gardens and similar organizations. We work to keep it running smoothly, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and we may change, pause, or discontinue features. We'll try to give reasonable notice of major changes.
8. No warranty
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. You use it at your own discretion and risk.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, WeAllGarden and its operators won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost data or profits, arising from your use of the Service. Because the Service is provided free of charge, our total liability for any claim is limited to $50.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the Service evolves. When we make material changes, we'll update the date above and, where practical, note it in the app. Continuing to use the Service after changes means you accept the updated terms.
